WELCOME TO THE JOYOUS WORD CHURCH

Many people are discovering the joy of loving and serving both God and each another in our church here in the great city of Kampala. This happens not only in our celebration services in the JoyousWORD church in at the Jeliza Building on Bombo Road on Sundays, but also in the weekday cell meetings in homes, cafes, schools and places of work.
We hope that you enjoy our website and ask you to pay special attention to our online media section. Not only can you watch and listen to sermons of the past through our archive, but also watch “live” our Sunday services at 11 am every Sunday.
With over so many different nationalities worshiping at the JoyousWORD church, we have many friends and family all over the world who remain very dear to us. We hope that in some way our ministry can be a blessing and encouragement to you as you seek to serve the Lord in this current generation.
WHO WE ARE.
We’re a Family First
The JoyousWORD Church is first a family, one that is passionate about following Jesus and committed to love, serving, and do life with one another in our home cells (Discipleship communities). Our value for relationships makes us stronger, grows us personally, and equips us to truly make a difference. Our heartbeat is to love God, love people and make disciples as we bring the message of God’s grace to a world searching and in need!
From the moment you walk in the door, our desire is that you feel welcomed by our church family and personally experience God’s presence. You will be greeted with warm, friendly faces who will be happy to answer any questions and provide direction during your visit. We hope you will feel comfortable and energized as you enjoy inspiring worship and a practical message shared directly from God’s WORD the BIBLE.
Our Pastors
We are absolutely delighted to serve you as your Pastors at the JoyousWORD Church in Kampala City. We are a church family of many nations where many find a real home. We hope you will experience our church as your family in the city.
We believe that our vision to Love God and make Disciples for Jesus and our mission to reach Kampala and the world for Christ is something worth living for.
As we serve together we know our church family will be a generous loving community and a storehouse of rich resources to bring hope to many across our City and to all the World.
